Shining Silver at the Worlds

Congratulations to our very own David Sosnov for a SILVER 🥈in the Junior (under 20) Men's Foil at the World Championships in #Riyadh2024, losing out in a tough final battle with Ryosuke Fukuda of Japan.

Out of a field of 181, David beat competitors from Kazakhstan, China, USA, Ukraine and France on his way to the final.

David said: "I am extremely proud of myself and how I managed to fence throughout a long day. This all would not have been possible without the incredible support of my coach Ziemek, my family, my teammates, and all the staff at the competition. Hopefully next year the medal will be a different colour!"
