Peter Barwell - former gold medalist in the Commonwealth Games and British Champion in the age groups - will be coaching and sparring on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A keen supporter of the ZFW Fencing Club from the beginning, Peter has been a key member of the ZFW team who won Gold at the 2015 and 2017 Leon Paul British Championships. 

 

He also holds the record for winning the most British Youth Championships, getting to the top of the podium on no fewer than five times!

As a coach, Peter has helped his fencers produce many varied successes, perhaps most notably Amelie Tsang's Cadet World Championship in Plovdiv in 2023.
