ZFW's founder and Head Coach, Ziemek Wojciechowski, was awarded Performance Coach of the Year at the 2017 British Fencing Awards.
In the past year, Ziemek has seen many of his elite athletes achieve great results, including Richard Kruse winning the Shanghai Grand Prix and finishing fourth in the Rio Olympics.
Other notable successes include European U23 Champion (Alexander Choupenitch), British Senior Champion (Richard Kruse) and Bronze medalist (James-Andrew Davis) and many gold, silver and bronze medalists across the age groups a the British and English Youth Championships.
