James Davis is the 2019 British Champion, British ranked No. 2 and has been World No. 6.  He is a two-time Olympian, having competed in London 2012 and Rio 2016.

Now based in San Francisco, he will be coming to the club and sharing his coaching and sparring expertise whenever he is in the UK.

In 2016 he won the World Cup in Bonn, Germany - crowning him The Lion of Bonn !

James won the Senior European Championships in 2014 and he reached the top 8 in the Senior World Championships that same year.   He won the St Petersbourg Grand Prix in 2013.

James has significant experience in coaching young fencers and, whilst he mostly trains in the USA, his appearance at the ZFW Fencing Club will be widely announced on this website.
